In the Name of God Amen, I Richard Templin of East Nantmeal Township, Chester County and State of Pennsylvania. As to such worldly Estate as I shall be possessed of at the time of my Decease I direct to be disposed of as follows: it is my Will that my Executors as soon as convenient after my decease shall expose all my personal Estate to public sale (my books & clothes excepted) my Books I leave to be equally divided between Richard Templin Downing, John Downing, Samuel Downing, and Sarah Downing by my Executors hereinafter named, and further it is my Will that James Rea shall have all my wearing apparel. I remember my Grandchildren, sons and daughters of Samuel Jacobs and Sarah Jacobs, with the affection due to them but as I have already given their Father and Mother namely Samuel Jacobs and my Daughter Sarah Jacobs their full share of my Estate Real and Personal I cannot leave them any more, and further it is my Will that Eliza Rea shall have Twenty Dollars in lieu of her Freedom and further it is my Will that all my real Estate shall be sold in one year after my decease by my Executors and after paying all my just Debts Funeral Expenses including a head and foot stone to my grave likewise the Twenty Dollars to Eliza Rea before mentioned and further it is my Will that in two years after my decease my Executors shall collect the whole of the money arising from the sale of my Real and Personal Estate and (after deducting as above) Divide the same Equally between my Grandchildren the sons and daughter of Samuel Downing and Elizabeth Downing Namely Richard Templin Downing, John Downing, Samuel Downing and Sarah Downing Share and Share alike. And lastly I do nominate Constitute and Appoint my friends Owen Evans and John Templin to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all Wills and bequests heretofore by me made and Declaring this and no other to be my last Will.
