Joseph Baker - 1735, 1736

will 10th March, 1735/6 No. 558 His will contained the following provisions: I give unto m loving wife Martha Baker the sum of 8 lbs of lawful current money of Pa with liberty and privilege of my lodging rooms with my best bedding and furniture there unto belonging and my sd son Joseph shall pay her the sum of 8 lbs per year and every year during her natural life and if it shall so happen that he shall neglect or refuse to pay as afors'd, then she is to enter on the plantation. I give Frances Yarnall 5 shillings, and 5 shillings to each of his 3 children. I give to my son Richard 5 shillings, and 5 shillings a piece to his 3 children. I give to my son Aaron 10 lbs. I give to my daughter Anne and her husband James Sill 10 lbs. I give my daughter Susannah 10 lbs. I give to my daughter Jane and her husband Thomas Thomas 5 shillings and to their 4 children 3 lbs a piece to be paid them after all the rest of the legasias be paid. I give to my son Jesse 10 lbs. I give to my daugher Sarah and her husband 5 shhillings. I give to Joseph the plantation to him and his heirs and assigns forever. I give to my daughter Rachel 10 lbs. I give to myu son Nehemiah 10 lbs and a riding mare. I give to my son John 10 lbs and a riding mare as above bqueathed my son Joseph. Constitute m loving wife and my 2 sons Richard and Aaron Baker to be my only and sole executors of this my last will and testament.
