Second Reformed Church of Coventry

Second Reformed Church of Coventry  (Brownback's being known as the First Reformed Church of Coventry) was built in 1837, under the pastorate of Rev. J. C. Guldin, then pastor of Brownback's, and has since been supplied by the ministers of the last-named church.  There were but 25 members at the time of the organization, and the membership is now 125 (1881).  The church commonly goes by the name of 'Shenkle's', as there was a burying groud there long before the church was erected which bore that name.
