Thomas Strawbridge

Thomas Strawbridge, the son of James Strawbridge who settled in Londonderry twp, in that part now called Penn, prior to 1747, was a native thereof. He was a member of the Convention of July 15, 1776 that formed the first State constitution; a captain in Col Evan's Battalion of Chester Co militia in Jan, 1777; and appointed sub-lieut. of the county Oct 16, 1777. He seems to have been an ardent, active patriot of the Revolution, but we have no further record of him.
