James McIlvaine

"James McIlvaine emigrated with his wife and 5 children from the county of Antrim, Ireland, around 1740. John, the eldest son of James was married twice, his second wife being Lydia, daughter of Richard Barnard. James the father of Abraham, was the 5th of the issue of his second marriage. He married Mary, daughter of Abraham Robinson, of Naaman's Creek, Del, and settled upon a part of his father's estate on Crum Creek, in Chester Co. Abraham Robinson was the son of Thomas Robinson, who emigrated from Ireland and married Sarah, daughter of Bartholomew Penrose.";
